About
My days move between three rooms — the studio, the workshop, and the page. Trained as an industrial designer and design engineer — with years spent engineering chip-machine systems at ASML — I now run Explored Parallel from Den Haag: a social studio producing wearable goods, books, films and games drawn from heritage. Alongside it, I work on inclusion across the city.

Storytelling
Fiction, film and games that carry where we come from.
Product development
Industrial design and engineering — making the story physical.
Graphic design
Identity, type and the visual language of a world.
Social design
Design as a tool for inclusion and belonging.
Design as intervention. I lead projects that turn lived experience into real prevention — identity work at the scale of a city.
Social designListening as research. I gave young people’s stories a structure that others could read, trust and act on.
ResearchMy own world. A studio that designs garments, films and objects from the memory of where we come from.
WorldbuildingPrecision as discipline. Engineering chip-machine systems taught me to make an idea hold under real tolerances.
EngineeringDesign for belonging. I shaped how an institution sees — and includes — the people inside it.
InclusionWhere it started. Turning sketches into things you can hold — the first proof that an idea can become an object.
