EMIRATES
Extending a global airline brand across campaigns and physical products A series of graphic design and concept-development assignments created for Emirates within an agency environment. The work ranged from fast-turnaround online campaign materials to exploratory concepts for branded gifts and retail products. Each assignment required the Emirates identity to remain recognisable, premium and internationally consistent across very different formats.
Supporting an international brand through ongoing creative work Emirates required flexible agency support for both planned campaigns and ad-hoc communication needs. The assignments included the development and adaptation of online campaign graphics, as well as concepts for branded products that could be used for customer engagement, corporate gifting or commercial sale. Because the work was produced within an ongoing agency relationship, each project varied in scale, audience and delivery time. The creative approach therefore needed to be adaptable while remaining aligned with the airline’s established visual identity and premium positioning.
Maintaining premium consistency across fast-moving assignments Emirates operates as a highly recognisable international brand. Even relatively small campaign assets or promotional products needed to feel consistent with its wider communication, because global brands apparently do not receive permission to have an off day. The challenge was to work efficiently within existing brand guidelines without producing repetitive or generic results. Digital campaign materials needed to communicate quickly and clearly, while product concepts had to translate the Emirates experience into physical objects that felt useful, desirable and appropriate for a premium airline. The work also required balancing creative exploration with practical considerations such as audience, production method, brand visibility and commercial relevance.

For online campaigns, I developed and adapted visual materials around the specific message, format and platform of each assignment. The designs preserved the Emirates identity while adjusting composition, hierarchy and imagery for different digital applications.
The campaign work included:
online advertisements and promotional graphics visual adaptations for different dimensions and platforms campaign-specific compositions image selection and art direction clear integration of offer, destination and brand messaging rapid design support for ad-hoc communication needs
Alongside the campaign assignments, I generated concepts for branded products and relationship gifts. These proposals explored how Emirates could remain present beyond the travel experience through objects connected to comfort, travel, lifestyle and premium service.
The product concepts were developed around:
relevance to the airline and travel context premium material and finish opportunities restrained but recognisable branding usefulness beyond the promotional moment suitability for gifting or commercial sale clear presentation for internal review and further development
Rather than treating the products as ordinary merchandise, the concepts were approached as extensions of the Emirates service experience.
The work provided Emirates with ongoing visual support across a range of online communication needs, allowing campaign materials to be produced and adapted efficiently within its established brand system.
The promotional-product concepts also expanded the creative scope beyond digital campaigns, offering directions for physical objects that could support customer loyalty, business relationships and brand visibility.
Together, the assignments demonstrated my ability to work within a global identity while responding to changing briefs, short timelines and different communication formats. The result was a varied body of work connected by the same standards of clarity, consistency and premium brand presentation.
