WHY IT MATTERS

Most brands look fine and mean nothing. They chase trends, blur into the category, and forget the one reason they were started. The brands that win know exactly why they exist; and design every detail to prove it. That's the work I do.

Branding & graphic design.

Strategy & Training

Trainings & strategy

TRAINING Design thinking that survives Monday

Your team fills a wall with post-its, everyone leaves energised, and six weeks later nothing has shipped.

Two days on a live problem from your own backlog. We frame it until the question is worth answering, open it up, build rough prototypes on day one and put them in front of real users on day two. You close with a decision that has a name against it. You learn the method by using it on something that matters, which is the only way it survives contact with your calendar.

You leave with
  • A framed problem statement your team actually agrees on
  • Three tested prototypes and what each one proved or killed
  • A written decision log: what you chose, why, and who owns it
  • The facilitation kit and agenda to run the next one without me
1–2 days · up to 14 people · at your office

Skip this if you want a keynote. Nobody sits still in it.

STRATEGY A purpose that changes decisions

Your values are on the wall, and not one of them has ever made you turn down a project.

We dig out why you exist, then test it against decisions you have already made: the hires, the clients you took, the ones you should have refused. A purpose that survives that test is worth writing down. One that fails it is wall art, and you will have found that out in three weeks rather than three years. Then we write it in language your team can repeat without the deck.

You leave with
  • A purpose statement written for use rather than for framing
  • Positioning: who you are for, and who you are explicitly not
  • A messaging framework your whole team can write from
  • Five design principles to hold every future decision against
3 sessions over ~3 weeks · founders + leads

Skip this if the answer is already decided upstairs and you need it validated.

TRAINING Inclusion you can actually design for

You mean it, your statement says so, and your onboarding is still a PDF nobody can read.

You spend the session on your own touchpoints, your own language and your own front door, working from real cases rather than scenarios. We turn what people actually experience into things your team can build. Most teams find something in their own process that nobody had noticed.

You leave with
  • An audit of the touchpoints where people quietly fall out
  • Prioritised interventions, scored by effort against impact
  • Plain-language guidance your team will genuinely use
  • One intervention started before the session ends
½–1 day · up to 12 people

Skip this if you need a box ticked. It produces work, and work takes time.

Why learn this from me

Tested where it is expensive to be wrong

Years of designing at ASML, where a design either holds under real tolerances or it never ships. That is where the structure in this method comes from.

Practised where the subject is people

I lead prevention projects at RADAR and did research at an ombudsman’s office. Turning lived experience into something an organisation can act on is the day job.

Taught inside an institution

Years advising a university on diversity and inclusion. Long enough to learn what a team is still doing six months after a workshop, and what they quietly drop.

Packages

Workshop Day
  • One live problem of yours, framed properly
  • Prototypes built and tested in the room
  • A written decision, with a name against it
  • Session notes and the materials to repeat it

One decision made, by the people who have to live with it.

Training Programme
  • Four sessions on your own live projects
  • Your team facilitating by the last one, not me
  • A method guide written in your language
  • Two follow-up reviews after it lands

You stop needing me. That is the deliverable.

Questions, answered.

We did a workshop once and nothing changed.

That is the normal outcome, and it comes from how workshops are usually built: they run on a hypothetical, end on enthusiasm, and leave nobody holding the result. These run on a live problem of yours and close with a written decision that has a name against it. Both of those get settled on the first morning, before any post-it comes out.

We already have a branding agency.

Good, keep them. They make sure the thing looks right. This makes sure the right thing is being made. If your agency can already point every design decision back to a reason you would defend out loud, you have what I would have given you, and I will say so on the call.

My team cannot lose two days.

Then do not book two days. Half a day on one real decision beats two days on a hypothetical. The programme exists for teams that want the method to stay after I leave; the workshop day exists for teams that want one thing settled and their calendar back.

How is this different from hiring a consultant?

A consultant hands you their conclusion. I run the process that gets your team to one, in the room, with their names on it. You can tell the difference about six months later, when the decision is still being defended by the people who made it. Conclusions that arrive in a deck tend to leave with it.

What does it cost?

It scales with the size of the group and the preparation the work needs, so you get a real figure once I know which of those applies to you. What you look like you can pay has never come into it. Every engagement starts with a free intro call, and I would rather lose a booking than take one you do not need.

What do I actually walk away with?

Things you can check a week later: a framed problem, tested prototypes, a written decision log, a purpose you can hold work against, and the materials to run the next session yourselves. Every line on the offer above is an artefact you can open.

Dutch or English? On site or remote?

Both, and both. Working sessions go better in person and I travel for them. The writing and reviews in between work fine remotely.
